A celebration of fiber arts and old-time artisan skills!
At the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin, Indiana - 2026 Dates: Friday, June 5 & Saturday, June 6
Peony Archway
In 2024 we started a collaborative fiber art project for all who attended the festival to be able to contribute a flower to our archway.

In 2025, we expanded on the addition of peonies to include leaves, and our arch was pretty much filled! But there's always room to squeeze in a little more.

Why the Peony?
The peony is Indiana's state wild flower. It blooms in late May/early June (just when our festival happens), and comes in shades of red, pink, and white. Here are some links for crochet and knitted versions. These are just suggestions that are quick to work up. You're also welcome to find or make your own pattern!
